Add a human face to emails sent from workflow rules and tracks
As a quick follow up to my recent post, Using member name as display name with ConnectWise 2012.1, it’s also possible to send emails generated as part of a track or a workflow rule from an actual human being, rather than a generic info@ or sales@ email address.
Workflow rules
- Navigate to Setup > Setup Tables > Workflow rules.
- Find and select the workflow rule you would like to update.
- Find the event whose action sends the email and click Edit Actions.
- Change the Member From dropdown from Email Address to Specific Member and select the member using the Member field provided.
- Click the Save icon.
Tracks
- Navigate to Setup > Setup Tables > Tracks.
- Find and select the track you would like to update.
- Find and select the Send Email action you would like to update.
- Change the Member From dropdown from Email Address to Specific Member and select the member using the Member field provided.
- Click the Save icon.
